Additionally, a bid and play checker is available to help players identify any differences in their bids and plays compared to the computer's suggestions.

To improve their skills, players can utilize the play review feature to step through the hand and analyze their decisions. The game also provides six levels of computer AI, catering to both beginning and advanced players.

The unique thinking AI in NeuralPlay Five Hundred ensures a challenging opponent for different rule variations. Moreover, players can claim the remaining tricks when their hand is high.

The game allows further customization with rule options such as choosing the size of the kitty/deck, determining the number of bidding rounds, enabling or disabling Nullo bids, setting the point value for Open Nullo bids, awarding points for slams, enforcing must bid to win with a score cap for defenders, making 6 level bids Inkle bids, deciding whether or not to award points to the defending team based on tricks taken, allowing players to declare a misdeal when dealt a hand with no aces and no faces, and determining whether the game ends at a predetermined number of points or after a certain number of hands.
